The Voting Faculty is the main governing body of the School of Dental Medicine. It consists of the body at large, as well as its councils and standing committees.
The Voting Faculty is responsible for advisement related to the DDS instructional program and the school's research and service programs. It must approve all policies and standards related to DDS admissions, the predoctoral curriculum, student academic and clinical performance, teaching and research, and awarding of the DDS degree.
All faculty are members of the Voting Faculty, except those enrolled in degree or certificate programs or courses to be credited toward a degree or certificate program in the School of Dental Medicine.
