The Department of Oral Biology is the recipient of a T32 Training Grant from the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The project, "Advanced Training in Oral Biology," provides a stipend, tuition, fees, and health insurance support for both predoctoral trainees (dentists and non-dentists seeking a PhD) and postdoctoral trainees (dentists or PhDs).
Dr. Stefan Ruhl, professor and department chair, is the principal investigator and program director. Dr. Frank Scannapieco, SUNY Distinguished Professor of Oral Biology, is the program co-director.
