Scholarship recipients are recognized at an annual reception that celebrates their achievements.
All newly admitted students to the University at Buffalo DDS Program are automatically considered for scholarships. Scholarship selection criteria for incoming students include academic performance and achievement, intellectual curiosity, demonstrated leadership, engagement beyond academics, unique life experiences that contribute to a future in dentistry, and consideration of disadvantaged status.
The School of Dental Medicine also offers a variety of scholarships for students in their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years. These awards are typically based on financial need, academic excellence, and/or service. Please contact the Office of Student Affairs for more information.
