The Clinical Research Core (CRC) at the UB School of Dental Medicine (UBSDM) is advancing oral health through innovative and collaborative research. In an environment that promotes scientific discovery and the integration of evidence-based practices in dentistry, we provide investigators with comprehensive support in study design, development and implementation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Accelerating Innovation in Oral Health

Our focus is on pioneering cutting-edge clinical research, building partnerships with academic, industry and community stakeholders, and providing exceptional training to the next generation of dental researchers and clinicians.

We collaborate closely with UB research offices to streamline research contracts, facilitate IRB submissions and approval, assist with subject recruitment and scheduling, handle data entry and oversee regulatory compliance. In the CRC, we’re committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity, ethics, and patient care as we translate research findings into practical solutions that improve patient care and public health.
