The Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry program is fully accredited, diverse, and dynamic in nature. It consists of multiple unique rotation sites where residents will become proficient in working with in many types of clinical environments with diverse patient populations. Residents rotate through the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital, the Kaleida Ambulatory Care Center at the Conventus Center for Collaborative Care and the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Residents will gain extensive experience in treating patients of all ages, cultures and health care needs. A comprehensive education is provided in the form of clinical and didactic training, supplemented with close personal interactions with faculty and related health care providers.

The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine Pediatrics Program accepts application materials through the American Dental Education Association, Postgraduate Application Support Service (PASS). This service enables applicants to send an original copy of most application materials to PASS for distribution to all the programs that the applicant selects. The department also participates in the Postdoctoral Dental Matching program (MATCH).
Note: Applicants taking the NBDE exam after the application deadline will be considered and must be able to submit a score before matriculation.
