Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) residents receive a stipend while in the program. Full medical and dental benefits are also offered. Please visit the Graduate Medical Education salary and benefits webpage for details on this.
Our salaries do not include the added value of your benefits, which UB GME pays. Most institutions ask you to pay for your own benefits. Add $4,000 to $5,000 to our salaries for an accurate figure of your effective salary to compare what you will earn here to other programs. A living allowance to defray costs of on-call meals, travel, parking, etc., is added to each biweekly paycheck. The total salary will be reflected in the employment contract.
