The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program is a four-year program jointly sponsored by the University at Buffalo Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department and the Erie County Medical Center.

Admission Requirements
All School of Dental Medicine Advanced Education programs use a holistic admissions approach.

Applicants must:
- Complete a DDS or DMD degree prior to the OMFS program start date.
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, or a Canadian citizen.
- Have completed a minimum of 60 Higher Education credit hours in a United States or Canadian institution. Applicants who do not meet this requirement are not eligible for the program.
