Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Program


This program is designed to reflect a private general practice within a dental school setting. Residents provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population  and receive experience in all facets of general dentistry, including significant exposure to implant dentistry and digital technology.

Program start date: July 1

Traditional Track:

Standard Application Time: May - October

Traditional track applicants apply via PASS

Interviews will take place in-person between October and November. Virtual interviews can be arranged on an individual basis

Match decisions released on: January 17, 2025

International Scholar:

Standard Application Time: July - October

For admission to the AEGD International Scholars Program, international candidates must apply to two programs via the UB Application system:

  1. Apply to AEGD program 
  2. Submit a second Application to one of the following MS programs:

        > Biomaterials
        > Oral Sciences

Interviews will take place in-person or virtually between November and December
