This program is designed to reflect a private general practice within a dental school setting. Residents provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population and receive experience in all facets of general dentistry, including significant exposure to implant dentistry and digital technology.

The curriculum is designed to provide advanced training beyond pre-doctoral education in clinical dentistry. Students will refine those skills necessary to provide comprehensive patient care for all population groups.
Available experience includes:
Faculty is one of the greatest assets of the AEGD program. All general dental faculty members have experience in private practice, and there is access to faculty in every dental specialty. Two dedicated faculty members are assigned at each clinic session, and the ratio of faculty to residents is 1:5 or better. The program relies on more than 35 associated faculty members, with supervising faculty whose only responsibility is resident instruction.
