Dear Fellow UB Dental Alumni,

We hope this message finds you well and that the new year has begun positively for you, both personally and professionally. As we reflect on 2025, we are proud to share that it was a remarkable year for the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine (SDM) and the University at Buffalo Dental Alumni Association (UBDAA).

Last fall, SDM successfully completed its Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) site visit and remains fully accredited with no recommendations. The SDM continues its five-year strategic plan, advancing excellence through four key imperatives—people, innovation, education, and community. This momentum is reflected in record-breaking interest, with more than 4,700 applicants across the DDS and International Dentist programs.

The mission of the UB Dental Alumni Association remains centered on three priorities: supporting the School of Dental Medicine, empowering our students, and strengthening lifelong connections among alumni. Your continued involvement and membership make this work possible.

We are also pleased to share that the 49th Buffalo Niagara Dental Meeting will take place November 4–6, 2026. This will be a special opportunity to reunite with classmates, faculty and students. Reunion planning is underway as we prepare to celebrate the Class of 1976’s 50th reunion, along with all classes ending in 1’s and 6’s. We look forward to welcoming you to the Remember When Reception and Dinner Dance Gala during this memorable weekend. The weekend will end with the opportunity to tour the impressive enhancements to the School of Dental Medicine facilities.

As we prepare to welcome a new class of alumni in May 2026, we remain deeply grateful for your support. Your membership directly benefits current students through scholarships, programs, and engagement opportunities—strengthening our community today and for generations to come.
