Summer 2026 Student Health Insurance

Maintaining adequate health insurance during your academic program protects you from unexpected financial burdens. Insurance is required for international students due to visa requirements. Domestic students should check with your academic program about specific health insurance requirements. UB does not offer a domestic health insurance plan.

Domestic Students

Any domestic students that require insurance should be directed to the NYS Health Insurance Marketplace.

International Students

The international enrollment coverage form is available below. If students arrive before Aug. 10, 2026, they can purchase for June 15-Aug. 10, 2026, or the entire summer, May 4-Aug. 10, 2026.
