• Maintaining adequate health insurance during your academic program protects you from unexpected financial burdens. 
• For International Students, due to visa requirements, insurance is required. Domestic students, please check with your academic program about specific health insurance requirements.
• As of August 1st, 2024, UB will no longer offer a domestic health insurance plan.

Any domestic students that require insurance should be directed to the NYS Health Insurance Marketplace.  We do have a step-by-step guide on our website, located here:

• Please find international enrollment coverage form below.
  
• If students arrive before 8/15/25 they can purchase 6/15/25-8/14/25, or the entire summer, 5/15/25-8/14/25.
