Dentistry Smiles on Veterans

Every year in November, the School of Dental Medicine proudly hosts its Dentistry Smiles on Veterans event to provide free, comprehensive oral health care services to veterans.

On this day, volunteers from the School of Dental Medicine, UB's other academic health centers and external partners team up to to give back to those who have served their country through military service. Through this outreach program, patients have an opportunity to establish a new dental home, and students gain an understanding of giving back to the community, the broader impact of interprofessional collaboration on patient outcomes, and whole-body wellness.
