Research Expertise:
  • 3D Imaging: Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) can help address many previously unanswered questions within orthodontics and its related disciplines. Common areas of interest include pathology, airway, and enhanced diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a complex and multifactorial disease entity. Orthodontics alone or in conjunction with orthognathic surgery can provide not only a relief, but cure for the debilitating effects of OSA in adolescents and adult patients.
  • Surgical Orthodontics: Adequately preparing the maxillary and mandibular dental arches prior to and following orthognathic jaw surgery is complex process that has several unanswered questions.
