Advanced Graduate Education at UB allows trainees to contribute to a dynamic environment that includes stellar faculty and clinical facilities, a diverse patient population and state-of-the-art research opportunities.
The majority of Advanced Education programs at the School of Dental Medicine lead to a certificate in a specialty field. Many students simultaneously pursue an academic degree to enhance their research exposure during clinical training.
A distinguished cohort of graduate students focus exclusively on their research careers, pursuing masters degrees in Biomaterials or Oral Sciences while others conduct basic and/or clinical research to earn a doctoral degree in the country’s first Oral Biology PhD Program.
