Advanced dental education at the UB School of Dental Medicine encompasses master's, PhD and certificate programs across many oral health disciplines. 

The majority of our programs lead to a certificate in a specialty field. Many students opt to pursue an academic degree simultaneously to enhance their research exposure during clinical training. Some students focus exclusively on their research careers by conducting basic and/or clinical research leading to a master's or doctoral degree.
