Summer 2024 IDP Program

Applicaitons for the Summer 2024 International Dentist Program open on March 8, 2023.

Application Process

The School of Dental Medicine accepts 24 applicants to this program each year. Admission is highly competitive.

Applications to the IDP program will be reviewed on a rolling basis, therefore early completion of the application is in the best interest of the applicant.

Following initial review of applications, the IDP Admissions Committee will invite a number of applicants to come to the School of Dental Medicine for an interview, dexterity, and case study testing. A personal interview is required for admission, but does not guarantee acceptance.

Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to the IDP program, applicants must meet the requirements. All applications that meet our requirements will receive a full file review.

Academic Degree

Applicants must:

  • Be a graduate of an international dental school
  • Have satisfactorily completed an academic program of study of not less than four years, culminating in a degree, diploma, or certificate in dentistry recognized by the appropriate civil authorities of the country in which the school is located

Other dental schools may have different TOEFL policies. Please be sure to consult with each specific school you apply to for their individual TOEFL policy.

Our progam does not accept the International English Testing System [IELTS] exam to meet our English Language Proficiency requirement.
