Anyango Kamina and Noreen Williams, PhD

Noreen Williams, PhD (right), has rich knowledge built on a career of research experience; she’s eager to pass along that knowledge to students like Anyango Kamina.

Broad-based Expertise

Our faculty include about 160 individuals in the basic sciences alone with diverse research interests encompassing all aspects of modern biomedical science. Physician-scientists in the clinical departments pursue translational research in a variety of fields and often have adjunct appointments in the basic sciences for collaborative research and educational interactions.

Distinguished Careers

Our faculty include State University of New York (SUNY) Distinguished Professors and SUNY Chancellor’s Awardees for scholarship and teaching excellence.
