I don't think this will help me out at all while stranded on an island but I would say an enamel hatchet...Only because I've used that tool so many times in pre-clinic that I would kind of feel lost without it.
Endodontics with Dr. Battista. He has such a great sarcastic humor that made the class interesting and fun. I also did enjoy Dr. Shifferle's Nutrition class because contrary to popular belief, magic tricks still exist beyond elementary school birthday parties!
The family feel and the warm welcome that I got from the students at staff during interview day really did convince me to go to UB. All the students were so friendly and nice and genuinely enjoyed their dental school experience that I had to be part of the UB School of Dental Medicine family too.
I am involved in different organizations on campus like ASDA, BOCA and PEDO club. I am currently the ASDA Lunch and Learn coordinator and work with different vendors to come host events at our school (and get a free lunch out of it!)
I would have to say my favorite tooth hands down is #30. The majority of our competencies and practicals were on this tooth so I have seen this tooth quite a bit during my pre-clinic days. The number of crown preps that I did on tooth 30 is crazy, I just hope my first crown prep on a patient is #30 as well!
