Buffalo Outreach and Community Assistance (BOCA)

Buffalo Outreach and Community Assistance (BOCA) is an international public health organization that recruits students and dental professionals to promote dental education and implement free dental care in those areas of the world that lack adequate access to care. The word BOCA, which means “mouth” in Spanish, signifies our dedication to oral health care, as well as our goal of advocating for more universal access to dental care worldwide.

Buffalo Outreach and Community Assistance (BOCA) is a public health organization that recruits students and professionals to promote dental education and implement free dental care in those areas of the world that lack adequate access to care. We engage the broader Buffalo community through tabling at local health fairs and participating in dental screening events. Students also volunteer in non-dental outreach events such as Habitat for Humanity and soup kitchens.
